Garbled Marbles....a science experiment....

This week K4 did an experiment with multi colored beads and water.... (similar to orbeez)... the girls had fun making their predictions and discussing their observations....

Ryleigh checking out the beads...they were all different colors and sizes...
I gave each girl their own beads...for her own experiment...
We added water to the tiny little beads...
and the girls made predictions as to what would happen....
The girls watching to see what happened....
We set them aside for a bit, while we worked on other projects...
After about 30 minutes of sitting in the water...
they had started to take on a squishy form...
The marbles...after they had "set" all night...
the girls were so excited to see what their projects turned into...

A close up of the marbles....
we then used them to paint with...
(check out this week's stART project)...

For more fun science projects go check out Adventures in Mommydom.....

That really is such a wonderful experiment to do. I bought a kit that had those and have since lost it somewhere upstairs......

That looks like a great experiment for that age. My daughter would love it. I've never seen a kit with those in it. I'll have to look for one.
