stART - Little Elephant's Clever Trick

A Story + Art = a great stART!!!

We are doing "Ee" this week for school...so I tried to coordinate our stART project...a little bit... We read Little Elephant's Clever Trick...a story about animals natural camouflage...and in the end...(spoiler alert)...Elephant finds that he too can hide in the wild...For our project...we did Elephant Hand Prints...so fun...and so messy... but all the girls did great!

Me...painting Ryleigh's hand grey...

Making the Hand Print...

Adding the googly eye...

The finished elephant.... I drew on the tail, ear and mouth...so cute, right? ...
