Musical Mondays - Piano (Music Theory) for Preschoolers

In addition to the Mommy and Me Music Classes...I have also started teaching preschoolers piano lessons...separate from the children who attend Preschool/Tot School at our house....

Ryleigh "walking up" the keys
Primarily I am working with 3 & 4 year olds who are not quite ready to use a standard lesson book....so I have made up my own lessons focusing on beginning music theory at a more elementary level...which are all available on my printables page... I put up a new one every week or so... they are pretty self-explanatory...starting with counting and patterns and gradually introducing the notes... A Piano or keyboard is not necessary for the beginning lessons...

Ryleigh...looking for all the "C" notes on the keyboard...

This is great! I've been wanting to start some theory with my little ones, and these printables are perfect!

oo very fun! Sammy loves to play the piano at his grandma's house.. I will have to try and teach him while we are over there :-)
