A Story + Art = A great stART!
This week we read Hanukkah by Roni Schotter. It is a cute story about the holiday with great illustrations. For our project Ryleigh made a hand print Menorah. We used her hands for the base and candles and then used her finger print for the flames.

Very pretty - I've seen a number of Christmas handprint crafts, it's fun to see one for Hanukah.
What a treasured keepsake for years to come. I love the idea.
Ohhhh, I LOVE this! One of Maddie's favorite songs (thanks to the Barney's Holiday CD) is about the dreidel. We have some Hanukah books and this would make a great companion craft. Thanks!
handprint art is my favorite! I haven't seen this one yet--but I love it!
I love this. Nothing sweeter then a little one's hand prints!
Great craft. I love having the handprints to look at later. :) Happy Holidays!
What an awesome idea! Now I am beating myself up that I haven't thought about it earlier, and I don't have time for it today. Well, there is always next Hanukkah :)
This came out great!!
Thank you for linking up :0)
I love how they look like flames!
