Braeden is 14 Months and Ryleigh is 41 Months
PRESCHOOLTOT SCHOOL
Braeden has been working on his vocab this week...adding "Ryleigh", "Laina" and "Where is" to his list... he has also gotten much faster with the walking...will point to his nose and head on command (when questioned)...and of course... has continued with the destruction of all playthings...yikes!
Braeden has been working on his vocab this week...adding "Ryleigh", "Laina" and "Where is" to his list... he has also gotten much faster with the walking...will point to his nose and head on command (when questioned)...and of course... has continued with the destruction of all playthings...yikes!
Braeden flipped over the table and decided it was better used as a lookout... and they did everything he could to keep Ryleigh from coming on-board....
We did Letter Ff, Number 1, sight words "are" and "the", Mommy and Me Music and lots of fun projects...
The girls worked on patterning with the 3-D foam shapes...
They also did some mazes that I picked up on clearance at the dollar spot in Target...for 25 cents... I still feel the need to put them in page protectors to reuse...
For our letter of the week craft, we did "f" is for fingerprints...and the girls used many different colors of paint to make pretty fingerprints...
We practiced our Spanish this week by having me call out numbers in Spanish (sometimes showing the card...sometimes not)...and having the girls hold up the correct card...they did really well!
After the day's projects were over...the girls were not really ready to be done...so they made their own project of drawing...and who am I to say no to more project time!
I made the girls a roll and color fall scene...we used big dice and found the corresponding number on the sheet...and then colored it in...
Another great fine motor skills practice that all three girls loved...transferring pebbles with the pincher grasp into Halloween pumpkin containers.... they did this project for a good half hour...

ALL I CAN SAY IS WOW!
ReplyDeleteTHEY ARE LEARNING SO MUCH MORE THAN THEY WOULD LEARN IN A FORMAL PRESCHOOL AND NOT GET ALL THE PERSONAL ATTENTION, OR THE LESSONS KEYED TO THEIR LEVEL AND ATTENTION SPAN!
AND BRAEDEN, WHAT A DOLL!
HE'S GROWING SO FAST, IT'S HARD TO KEEP UP!
AND OF COURSE, RYLEIGH IS BEAUTIFUL
AND SMART!
Your Braeden sounds like my youngest! He sits on his older brother!
