School Daze - Dd...is for delightful...

Ryleigh is 41 Months and Braeden is 13 Months

We celebrated my husbands birthday this week...did calendar time...stART...music class...dance class... and lots of running around...the house...not errands...

TINY TOT SCHOOL
Braeden really concentrated on his gross motor skills this week...by pushing anything that he could around...furniture included...he is also getting much sturdier on his feet while walking...

Braeden pushing his sister's kitchen set across the living room....
Braeden pushing his sister on a car...when they got to the end of the "road"...he simply moved to the front of the car and pushed by holding the steering wheel...
Braeden investigating how the wheel moves...
by flipping the car over and spinning the wheels...

Braeden pushing the laundry basket...while the girls watched...Juliette was previously in the basket...and he pushed her as well....

PRESCHOOL

This week we did the letter Dd, the number 8, Color and Shape- purple oval...and added in the sight word "a"...we still worked on our farm theme...and read many farm books...including one of Ryleigh's favorites...Click Clack Moo...

Ryleigh working on a birthday cake for Daddy...Happy Birthday Marc!!!!Playing crazy 8's...princess edition...thank you Aunt Laura....
We worked on our alphabet books...gluing on objects that begin with Dd...
I had the girls put a sticker under "see" and draw a line under "I" and "a"... they really seem to like their sight word books...
For our stART project, the girls made Pig Paper Bag Puppets...
to go along with our farm theme...

The girls worked on itsy bitsy farm books this week....
I had the girls color in d's on Find a Letter (d)...
For the letter of the week, we did "d" is for door...and drawing... I saw the door part on No Time For Flashcards...and thought that a drawing would look cute behind the door....
The girls working on their d is for drawings...drawing.....
Gluing the drawing to the d....so it could be seen through the "door"....
The finished projects....
They sorted 3-D shapes that I got from the target dollar spot...by shape...and then by color...
Ryleigh playing with a farm puzzle...the girls did lots of them...
The girls playing with the obstacle course...I could probably skip everything except the tunnel...and maybe the cones...

What a fun week!! Love that picture of Braeden checking out the wheels. I have a very similar one of Sammy doing that about his age :-)
