A Story + Art = A great stART!
This week we read Hanukkah by Roni Schotter. It is a cute story about the holiday with great illustrations. For our project Ryleigh made a hand print Menorah. We used her hands for the base and candles and then used her finger print for the flames.

Very pretty - I've seen a number of Christmas handprint crafts, it's fun to see one for Hanukah.

ReplyDeleteOhhhh, I LOVE this! One of Maddie's favorite songs (thanks to the Barney's Holiday CD) is about the dreidel. We have some Hanukah books and this would make a great companion craft. Thanks!
