stART- Goldilocks and The Three Bears

A Story + Art = A great stART!

For this week's story we read Goldilocks and The Three Bears by Jan Brett. This is a great adaptation of the story. We love the colorful illustrations that Ms. Brett always has in her books... and Ryleigh has many of them as her favorites....

For our "art" this week... I had the girls do shape Bears...(we are doing "Bb" this week...and I love to do creative reviews of shapes with them)... The girls did an excellent job of listening to the story (it is on the longer side)... and a great job listening to directions when asked to find certain shapes and then put them together in order...
Dawn...reading the story...she did a great job with the voices and kept the girls attention...
Ryleigh inspecting all the different shapes on her tray...
Attaching the ears to the bear...
The finished (teddy) Bear...
