Braeden is 13 Months and Ryleigh is 40 Months
This week we did our Musical Monday, stART, school, playdates, and lots walks through the neighborhood... the week started out really well...and then Braeden got sick....so Tot School is very limited (even more so than usual)....
TOT SCHOOL
Braeden is currently working on getting 6 teeth...all at once... he has also been practicing his walking a little bit...
Braeden...watching Ryleigh...and trying to "catch" her...
Braeden and Ryleigh playing cars...they like to wheel them throughout the first floor...and usually end up in Braeden's room with them...it is very cute to watch because Braeden scoots along with whatever car he is wheeling...
PRESCHOOLThe girls seem to really like our Calendar routine...I am planning on adding a little bit in each week until we get the routine to where I want it...that way it is not too overwhelming for them. So far we go over the Day and Date of the week (and sing the days of the week song)...The Letter of the Week, The number of the week (and sing our Spanish number song)....Today, Tomorrow, Yesterday, The Weather, and Bible Words to Remember ..Next week I am adding in sight words and possibly the shape/color of the week.
Ryleigh working on our Letter of the Week "b" is for butterfly....
she used a roller to paint the wings... and then glued on the "b"...

Our finished "b"...inspired from Totally Tots...Ryleigh working on gluing beans on Bb
We used our cylinder shapes from the target dollar spot and worked on our counting...
then we used the cards to practice matching up the Spanish numbers.
The Cards are from Confessions of a Homeschooler...Ryleigh reviewed her Aa with our alphabet box....the box is still a work in progress...

We are still in our apple theme this week... so I had the girls use the bingo markers for apple Bb's...from Making Learning Fun...
The girls also practiced their cutting and gluing...they cut out the apples and pasted them onto the apple tree...(I got this activity from Confessions of a Homeschooler)...
Ryleigh working on our stART project...which was doing a shape bear...

Oh my goodness, I need that hat! Did you make it or buy it? If you made it, do you have the pattern?
ReplyDeleteSounds and looks like you had a great week. What is your Spanish numbers song. I think I may start introducing more Spanish soon. They learn some off of Dora but I think I could be doing more along with the sign language. You also reminded me I had planned on doing weather with the girls, but I haven't followed through yet. Was also wondering what you use for your alphabet box.
ReplyDeleteSorry Braeden was sick, hope he's better now. And 6 teeth at once?!? Ouch, poor boy.
Oh and your daughter has my Tabitha's cup.
I love the bean B's i'll be trying them. Thanks for sharing. i'm a new follower! Come along and visit me.
ReplyDeleteWhat fun! I love the b butterfly and the apple b, too. The Elmo hat IS fabulous. I am also interested in your Spanish number song. I remember one from Seasame Street years ago, not sure if it would be the same?
