For this week's stART project we read Pooh's Perfect Spring Day...part of The Four Seasons... cute book that points out some fun things about spring....Ryleigh loves it...not so much because of the story...but more for the characters in it...
One of Ryleigh's favorite things about spring is that it is warm enough to play outdoors for extended periods of time...her second favorite thing is all the pretty flowers that are in bloom... so for our Art part of the project she made a rose collage....
First she glued a few big pictures of roses around the paper then I had her cut pictures of roses into bits and pieces. Then she glued them on...

Glueing....

I love the floral collage. What bright bold colors.
ReplyDeleteWow, all those flowers make a beautiful collage.
ReplyDeleteLooks like fun!
ReplyDeleteYou found some beautiful pictures of roses for Ryleigh's collage - and she did a terrific job with it!
ReplyDeleteYour project looks like a lot of fun, and she did a great job with it! My daughter also likes reading books for the characters in them. She would probably love this one
ReplyDeleteoo that turned out just perfect!!
ReplyDeleteVery self-directed. Somehow I have a hunch that in our house that collage would have turned into "salad for kitty" mid-project - it happened before. But it's great scissor practice too.
ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty, I love flowers!! This also makes a very lovely Mother's Day card too :0)
ReplyDeleteThank you for linking up to stART!!!
