A story + Art = a great stART!!This week we read It Looked Like Spilt Milk...in which a white blob takes on many different shapes...but we find out (spoiler alert)...that it is a cloud...Very cute story...and Ryleigh loved it... we decided to make our own blob (we used purple)..and see what it looked like...
Putting some purple paint in the center of the paper...
Folding the paper over...
The finished project...Ryleigh decided that hers looked like a rainbow...

ReplyDeletesuper cute project!!
ReplyDeleteThese always remind me of rorschach tests. :) Looks like she had a great time!
ReplyDeleteAlways like the simple projects - and I keep forgetting about that book; I need to get it!
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing all the different shapes, that children see in these. Fun color choice :)
ReplyDeleteThis is a great book - I think Michelle's very first StArt project was on it. Blob identification is a great extension (and mind stretching) activity for it.
