A Story + Art = A great stART!!!!

This week we read My Fuzzy Valentine....featuring Elmo...so of course the book was a hit. It pretty much says it all in the title. For our project- I had the girls do their
Letter of the Week Craft...."V" is for Valentine.....
Starting to glue on the envelope/ white paper....
I had the girls use Felt Hearts as the "stamp" on the envelope ....a.k.a the white rectangle... here Ryleigh is sticking it on... right after she glued on her big pink heart....

I love the focus on the letter study too! I don't think I've ever incorporated our letter learning with an art project. I'm going to try to do that more often!
