A Story + Art = A great stART!

For our stART project this week, Ryleigh painted with water color and then added sea salt...to create a unique pattern....as the pictures in the story are also uniquely patterned. As the sea salt dried the water color...it removed the color and created a very pretty pattern...and I am in no way biased....well....maybe a little;)

Cool project! I saw that book at the library today. I knew Abby would have no interest in reading it, because there was a bug on the cover!

ReplyDeleteThis is a great idea to experiment with water colors - thanks for the tip. Anna didn't enjoy the book too much, but liked the scholastic short movie that we have on this book.
